vision
Our educational community shares a common vision for St. Mary Catholic Secondary School. We envision that:
Our Faith Development recognizes and addresses all aspects of faith, embraces the value of prayer and service in our community, conveys a depth of understanding of the importance of the sacraments in our lives and enables us to make moral decisions based on a sound Christian conscience.
Our Program Delivery infuses Catholic Graduate Learning Expectations in all areas, ensures students achieve a minimum of 60%, fosters a strong sense of self-worth, self-respect and self-discipline, instills pride for our Canadian heritage and respect for cultural diversity, reflects a nurturing learning environment which promotes critical and creative thinkers.
Our Lifelong Learners are aware of the teachings of the Catholic Church regarding our moral obligation to local and global social justice issues, can make daily healthy lifestyle choices for short and long term goals, are positive citizens who have a strong sense of Catholicity/Christianity.
